Coverage
Where Does Vividfforge's Network Actually Reach?
Our coverage spans 1,200+ Canadian postal codes — from Greater Calgary to Atlantic ports and northern resource corridors — backed by verified carrier partnerships in every province.

Understanding Our Canadian Coverage Model
Vividfforge operates on a hub-and-spoke model centred on our Calgary depot, with direct linehaul connections to Edmonton, Vancouver, Kelowna, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Halifax. Secondary coverage in Atlantic Canada, Northern Ontario, and Northern BC is managed through vetted regional carrier partnerships that share our tracking standards and transit-time reporting requirements. Every postal code in our network is classified as Tier 1 (direct service), Tier 2 (partner-carried, standard transit), or Tier 3 (extended-area, custom quote required). This classification is visible in our client portal's coverage checker so that your logistics team can confirm service level before booking — not after a failed delivery attempt. Our goal is full transparency about what the network can and cannot commit to in each region.
Coverage Reach by Service Type
Not all services are available at the same depth across every postal code — here is where each service operates today.
Domestic Freight
Direct Tier 1 service to all major Canadian CMAs (Census Metropolitan Areas) plus Tier 2 coverage to 960+ secondary and rural postal codes. Northern Territories require custom charter arrangement.
Warehousing
Calgary facility only at present, serving clients shipping into or out of the western Canadian market. Client inventory can feed into any domestic or last-mile lane from this single location.
Last-Mile Delivery
Alberta and BC residential and commercial coverage, with Calgary and Edmonton as primary distribution points. Rural extended-area surcharge applies beyond 150 km from either distribution point.
International
US cross-border at Alberta–Montana and Saskatchewan–North Dakota crossings; ocean departures from Vancouver and Prince Rupert; air freight from YYC. Asia-Pacific and European ports routinely serviced.
“We ship to 47 retail locations spread across six provinces. Before Vividfforge, we maintained three separate carrier contracts to cover that footprint. Now we use one portal, one invoice format, and one account manager who knows every lane. That consolidation alone saved us approximately 12 hours of admin per month.”

Coverage Questions We Hear Most Often
Do you deliver to First Nations reserves and remote communities?
Yes, many remote and First Nations addresses are covered under our Tier 2 and Tier 3 classifications. Tier 3 addresses require a custom quote and may carry extended transit times of 5–10 additional business days beyond the nearest regional hub. We will confirm this clearly at the quotation stage.
Can I ship from a city other than Calgary?
Our standard service is origin-rated from Calgary. However, we can arrange pickup consolidation from Vancouver, Edmonton, and Toronto for clients with multi-origin freight programs. Contact our team to discuss a multi-origin service agreement.
What happens if my destination postal code is not in your coverage checker?
Postal codes not appearing in the coverage checker are classified as Tier 3 and require a manual assessment. Submit the postal code and freight description to our team and we will respond within one business day with options, including charter or partner-carrier quotations.
Is there a minimum shipment size for coverage to apply?
There is no minimum for LTL domestic freight — we handle single-pallet shipments. Last-mile delivery has a minimum consignment weight of 5 kg per stop. International shipments below 50 kg may be routed as courier rather than freight, which your file manager will clarify at quoting.
